Help information

Colors. There are currently colors in the list.

Hex code. These are RGB colors that you can use in programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.

Hue. Sorting by hue will place all the reds together first, then yellows, greens, blues, and purples. Each color has a hue from 0 to 360 degrees. Hue numbers look like this:

0 degrees = Red.
60 degrees = Yellow.
120 degrees = Green.
180 degrees = Teal/Cyan (Blue-green).
240 degrees = Blue.
300 degrees = Purple/Violet.
360 degrees = Red.

Saturation. This is a measure of how pure the color is. Colors with lower saturation have more gray mixed in.

Luma. This is a technical name for the brightness or lightness of the color.

+ Switch between normal view and condensed view. (Useful on phone.)
