I will spend the next few years of my life pursuing a higher education in college. Becoming a software programmer is my career goal. I am going to major in computer science and get a master’s degree. I will also major in business as a fallback option in case I cannot get work as a software programmer after college.
My school of choice is San Jose State University, CalPoly, or MIT. However, I am going to be attending Mission College and transfer. I decided to attend community college for two years then transfer to a state college or university because it is financially better for me.
I will finance my educational plans by getting a full-time job in the time I have before college, and I will possibly have a second job in the summertime if I do not get a promotion by then. I will change to a part time job status while in college. I may even be eligible for an internship because of my educational background in user interface design and programming.
