Career Goals #1

My career goal is unknown at the moment, but what I do know is that I want to become a person that creates a product that other people could enjoy and use to make their lives a little bit better. I have considered being many things like a software or mechanical engineer because they both involve creating something. These two career paths are highly likely because in school my favorite subjects are Math and they both require a decent level of math to do well in.

College Plans #1

Before I start working though, I would like to go to college first. The type of college would probably be a community college. I would still like to go to a four-year as well but my family doesn’t have enough funds to pay for it. Two-years is probably the best option for me because I don’t have to pay for anything, and financial aid would also support me financially, because from what I hear, it sends you a check every month for low income students to use on books and school supplies. After graduating from a community college, I’m going to try and transfer to one of these colleges: UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, University of Washington, The University of Texas at Austin, or NYU. If you notice, all these colleges are known for their engineering majors especially computer science and mechanical engineering which I intend to take.

Career Goals #2

In case none of these career path works out for me, I have always wanted to open up a restaurant. Ever since I was little I’ve been working inside my parents pizza shop which closed around 4 years ago but for the times I have worked there, I really enjoyed it. In my case, I would probably open up a fancy/trendy restaurant where I could let my creativity go wild as I create my dishes daily. Most likely, it’s going to involve pizza because I’m very good at making it.

College Goals #2

To learn how to open up a restaurant, I don’t really need to go to school or have a degree of any sort. But culinary school would probably be helpful since it teaches you to make different dishes of food. On the other hand, I thought about getting knowledge through YouTube because now on YouTube, you could learn how to make any cool dishes through a click of a video!
