Career Goals
Because I really enjoy turning my crafts into a business, in the near future, my goal is to be an entrepreneur because I enjoy the idea of being your own boss and working under your own schedule. I wish to open a cafe someday, and selling baked goods.
College Plan
I plan to go to college taking business but specifically I plan to take Management Information Systems because it provides me with a combination of engineering and business courses. Because Management Information System falls in between these two categories, I would be able to apply to job options on either side; the only drawback would be to take a couple additional classes to strengthen that skill which leads to my back up plan.
If I were to have a change in mind, my major would still be applicable because I would have the option to either focus on the technical side or a different aspect of business. As of now, my second career goal is to be a business analysis because I enjoy interactive work, still working with technology, but not be the person who types code all day long.
In order to go to college, my plan for paying for college is to do freelance work doing social media marketing, creating logos, websites, and apps. After saving enough, I wish to start an online business that will self run to help pay for college. Although I understand college is a large expense, I strive to pay for my own college tuition and living, but worse comes to worse I will ask my parents for assistance.
