Objective: Create a basketball image that rotates at a realistic speed that has changeable speed and color.
Problem: Watching a basketball on a screen is not as amusing as an interactive model.
Solution: We had created a basketball with a realistic gradient placement and added the element of choice for speed and color of the basketball. The ball rotates at a speed that is relative to the speed the basketball is traveling at, thus meaning when the user increases or decreases the basketball speed, the rotation speed automatically correlates to the distance traveled.
