Career Goals
I enjoy working with computers and my favorite subject is math. I am considering majoring in computer science. When I get my degree I am thinking about being a software engineer. Software engineers design, maintain, and test computer software.
If that career doesn’t work as planned, I will consider a career as an electrical engineer. It is related to computers and requires quite a bit of math knowledge. The degree required to get this job is an electrical engineering degree. Electrical engineers design and develop new electrical systems, solve problems and test equipment.
College Plans
I could get my Computer Science degree at San Jose State University or California Polytechnic University at San Luis Obispo. If I don’t get enough aid to pay for these schools I might have to go to a community college first, as it is cheaper and more flexible.
I could get my Electrical Engineering degree at San Jose State University or University of California Merced. These two universities are the two cheapest options for me. However, if I want to save even more money, I could go to a community college first, as I said in my first career plan.
