Career Goals
Some of my favorite subjects are history, math and physics. My top career goal is majoring in Software engineering. Due to personal reasons I have not taken any courses involved with my major but I am now attending SVCTE for Mobile Apps. Software Engineers work to develop programs and operating data for computers.
I have not yet thought about my second career choice but I would like it to be part of STEM. I would like to have a conversation with someone that would help me figure out my career path if my first choice doesn't work out since the counseling in my current High School is not so well.
College Plans
Evergreen Valley High School offers admission to SJSU if the student completes the required courses throughout their 4 years of High School. My first college choice would be SJSU to obtain my degree since I have all the requirements to be automatically admitted. My second choice would be to attend Community College for 2 years then transfer to a University if I want to save money.
A part of my educational plan to get to my career goal would be to get a job while attending school. I would like it to be a job that involves the career I decide on and that I enjoy doing. I will also be sending out an application to get help from FAFSA to help pay for my goal.
