College and Career Plans

Career Goals
I found my passion in coding when I took Web Design in my junior year. I enjoyed creating websites from scratch and learning basic coding: HTML and CSS. Therefore after I graduate from college, I want to pursue a career as a Web Developer or as a Software Engineer. My goal is to eventually become an entrepreneur with my own business of selling software.
I am profoundly passionate about becoming a Software Engineer, however, if the career is not meant for me, I would like to become Business Operations Manager for a company. This interest is developed from the hopes of becoming a Software Entrepreneur. One necessary quality I want in my career goal is to have the ability to execute and manage a team or company- whether it comes from becoming a Software Engineer or becoming a Business Operations Manager.
College Plans
Recently, the summer of 2019, I created a list of potential colleges I would like to attend. My first and top university on the list is Stanford. Stanford, according to my research, has an excellent Computer Science program. I would like to major in Computer Science with a minor in Marketing and any other Entrepreneurial class.
According to my college list, San Jose State and Santa Clara University are my next two dream schools. One reason I would like to attend these two schools is because both schools have excellent business program. Secondly, both schools are near my house, so it will be an easy commute. If I am accepted into these schools and realize that I do not want to major in Computer Science, then I would like to major in Business Administration.
