My Career Goals
My main career goal is to become a graphic designer for game development companies. I am interested in creating visuals for others to enjoy while experiencing a game. I am a creative person and want to be able to use that creativity in my career.
If that does not work out, my second career goal would to be a developer for a game. Creating a game for others that they can enjoy would be fascinating to me. Being able to use feedback to create a better game would be amazing.
My College Goals
I would need at least a bachelor's degree for graphic design. Colleges that have a major for graphic design are DeAnza, San Jose State, Mission college, Academy of Arts, and the California College of the Arts. I would have to major in computer graphics, animation and typography.
As for becoming a game developer, I would need to major in programming languages, software programs, and 3D modeling programs. I would need a minimum of a highschool diploma, but a recommended degree would be a bachelor’s degree. Colleges that would have these courses are University of California Los Angeles, Academy of Art University, and Otis College of Art and Design.
