Career Goals
One of my strong suits is problem solving and I’m very interested in computers, more specifically computer programming. That’s why I want to be a computer programmer. Computer programmers write and test the code that allows computer applications and programs to function.
If I’m unable to get into any schools for computer science I would like to get a teaching credential.
College Plans
In order to become a computer programmer you need to get a degree in Computer Science, which I plan to get at UC Santa Cruz, San Jose State, Monterey State or Stanislaus State. I’ll be applying to these schools in a few months.
A good school for that would be UCSC or Monterey State, as they both also offer other subjects that I might be interested in teaching in and I meet the requirements to apply.
